There is no place like home just ask the Wegners. They miss their family, friends, beds, yep even the crappy weather and cannot wait to get HOME.

Justin had his last appointment with the surgeon on Monday, February 6th. She told him she never wants to see him again in person, but would love a picture of him playing baseball. What a special moment that will be.

Just has 3 radiation treatments left. He has counted this number down from the start since it is his ticket back to Naperville when it hits 0.

Speaking of home, Justy and Mrs. Wegs are coming home on Wednesday, Feb 15th. Papa Wegs leaves Tuesday the 14th by car so he will be able to pick Mama Wegs and Justin up from the airport.

Guess what is this Saturday February 11th? If you guessed Justin`s birthday you are right. I want to wish Justin a very Happy Birthday. My wish for Justin this year is that I get to see him catching at Wisconsin Whitewater again. Truly, he is the most courageous, funny, and kind person I have ever known. I am the lucky one to have him as my best friend.

The Wegners again want to thank everyone for the cards, care packages, food, and prayers. You have truly made it feel like home and it makes everything so much better.

A special thank you to Katie Lamich who plays softball at NIU. She had JWEGSTRONG customized on her brand new Rawlings softball glove. This is her reminder to always keep pushing through just s Justin has done. There is a friendly competition between the players at NIU for who has the best glove. Katie could use your support. Please go on Facebook and like her picture so that she could win this. Her teammates and coach are very supportive of Justin and it would be nice to throw support her way.
